These terms apply to boutiques that add the Bridal Voir “Wear It” virtual try-on to their website, including during our pilot programme. By generating your script and ticking the box, you agree to them on behalf of your boutique. If we later offer paid plans, anything extra that applies to them, such as prices and billing, will be set out separately and agreed with you, and these terms will keep applying alongside it unless we say otherwise.
1. The pilot and your allowance
During the pilot, the try-on is free. We will never charge you for it, and nothing turns into a paid plan automatically. If we later offer paid plans, we will tell you first and you can decide whether to continue.
Your boutique gets a monthly allowance of try-ons. We may raise or lower it and will let you know if we do. When the allowance runs out, brides see a message asking them to check back later.
The pilot runs until we tell you it is ending. When it ends, we will tell you what happens next, and the try-on will not continue on a paid basis unless you agree to it.
2. Your script
Your script is tied to your boutique and only works on the website addresses you gave us. Please don’t share it or use it on other sites. You can remove it from your website at any time, and that is all you need to do to stop.
We can pause or switch off the try-on for your boutique, or for everyone, at any time, for example to fix a problem or prevent misuse.
3. Your dress photos
The try-on uses the dress photos already on your website. You confirm that you have the right to show those photos, and you allow us to use them to create try-on previews for brides visiting your site. We don’t use your photos for anything else.
You are responsible for having all the rights and permissions needed for your dress photos to be used this way, including any needed from the designers, photographers and models who appear in them. If you aren’t sure you have them, please check before you add the script, or email us and we will switch it off for those photos.
4. Brides and their photos
Brides upload their own photo to see a preview. How we handle those photos is set out in our privacy policy. In short, a bride’s photo is used only to create her preview, and we delete it after 7 days. By uploading a photo, a bride confirms that it is her own, or that she has permission to use it, and she agrees to us using it to create her try-on. We don’t share brides’ photos with you or anyone else, apart from the service providers who help us create the preview.
5. What the previews are
Previews show roughly how a dress could look on the bride, but they won’t be exact: fit, colour, length and detail can differ from the real dress.
6. No guarantees
The try-on is provided as it is, and during the pilot it is still being developed. We work hard to keep it running, but we can’t promise it will always be available, work on every website, or find every dress photo. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t responsible for any indirect loss, such as lost sales, arising from the pilot.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Please check this page from time to time for any updates or changes.
